Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process data only on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act DSG, TKG 2021). This policy explains which data is processed when you visit rinoaqua.com and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on a server of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Every time a page is accessed, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page or file accessed, the referring page, browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure (for example to detect attacks). It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period, unless it is needed to investigate a specific security incident.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and error-free operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IONOS processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

3. Contact form

If you send us a message via the contact form, we process the details you enter (first and last name, email address, optionally phone number, company name and state, your message) to answer your request, for example a booking enquiry. Our server forwards your message by email to our mailbox [email protected] (Google Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and automatically sends a confirmation to the email address you entered.

To protect the form against spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you send the form, your browser performs a short technical check; no tracking cookies are set. To prevent abuse, the server also counts requests per IP address for a short time (only as an anonymous hash value, deleted after two hours).

The legal basis is the processing of your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (name, email address or phone number, content of your message) only to handle your request. We do not pass them on without your consent.

5. Cloudflare

Our website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and protected against attacks. Requests to our website therefore pass through Cloudflare servers; technical connection data such as IP address, browser type, page visited and time of access are processed. Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies to recognise automated requests.

For simple visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and creates no user profiles; we only see aggregated figures, for example the number of visits per page.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR), supplemented by standard contractual clauses. 6. Fonts, scripts, music and videos

All fonts, scripts, images, music tracks and videos on this website are delivered from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other external content delivery networks is made when pages are displayed.

7. Links to social media and music platforms

Our website contains simple links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, SoundCloud, Beatport, Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. We do not use social plugins or embedded content from these platforms. Data is only transmitted to a platform when you click a link and visit it; from then on the privacy policy of that platform applies.

8. Cookies

Our website does not set any cookies and does not use tracking or marketing tools, so there is no cookie banner. Only Cloudflare may set a technically necessary cookie to recognise automated requests (see section 5). You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

9. Data security

This website is only accessible via an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, please contact us at [email protected].
